Mattimus has been making music since he can remember, but when he got his first electric guitar in 1998 at the age of 13 his love of the industry took off. The influences on his music range from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, including icons from nearly every genre such as Hendrix, Metallica, Ludacris, The Beatles, Bee Gees, Eminem, The Eagles, John Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Louis Armstrong, Tool, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, and Dr. Dre to name a few. Some other favorites include Frank Sinatra, Green Day, Bruno Mars, GNR, AC/DC, Jason Mraz, and so many more. 

Regardless of the genre, Mattimus writes and records whatever creative mood strikes. This is why you get such a wide variety of music from his studio. As a classically trained musician, educated at Full Sail University in Audio Engineering, Entertainment Business, Business Administration, and a Ph.D. holder from The University of Phoenix, Mattimus is a certified audio engineer and records on his ProTools DAW along with Native Instruments collections and instruments. Mattimus plays over 20 instruments, writes, produces, sings, performs, records, and publishes everything you hear.
